It’s been awhile since I’ve kept the blog up to date with the weekly 60L weekend items but this weekend is filled with a few of my favorites! All three of these items will be available through at least Sunday at just 60l each so grab them up while you can!

I have been up there and there is no place like Almost Wonderland in SL. I mean if there is I haven’t seen it…but more so you are going to just kick yourself tiny when you escape down the rabbit hole. Tell you what.. I’ll make it easy for you

Ok so now Ive given you that wonderful experiance I have sad news to share.
I have had 4 sl friends break up this month!! I thought spring meant twitterpated!! (didn’t you watch Bambi?) So for all my SL friends and everyone else who has decided to send the email “so sorry but you and me are no longer” can now write this email while sitting at your very own desk meant for such writing…check it out ! It is a very nice addition to your Gothic castle or manor even if you don’t have a bone to pick.

Ok, well I am going back to the land of the littles..speaking of which Deja told me she is making some Petite/Micro sized stuff my tiny butt can enjoy as I type so be looking for that coming soon! I can’t wait because if one more of you humans sits on me Imma go Tinkerbell on your ass!

I couldn’t believe it. A hunter was in my store tonight and couldn’t pick up the envelope from the Sanity Falls hunt (a madpea production which I will blog about tomorrow). Why couldn’t she pick it up you ask? I was muted! Can you believe it. One of the coordinators of the hunt contacted me personally to find out why the hunter couldn’t get the item but everyone else could. Sure enough, it came to light that Snowy….had muted me! aaaaarrrrggggghhhh!
Do not fear my fellow gothonians….Snowy was set right after apologizing and begging my forgiveness, but you know me, that just couldn’t be the end of it. I ordered Snowy to be put on display in a nearby cage so that others may learn from her mistake.
You’ll notice her partner nearby, pleading for her release, and Smiley, the coordinator from Madpea…well I don’t see a smile on that face, do you? No…Snowy knew she must be punished.
Do you know what happens when you mute people? You start to loose focus. When you start to lose focus you might wander down into dungeons. When you wander down into dungeons you might get put in a cage. Don’t lose focus and wander down into dungeons and end in a cage. Stop muting people! Don’t be like Snowy.
Ok…so this was all in good fun. It was an accidental muting on Snowy’s part and we all had a good bit of fun harassing her for it. But no worries, Snowy and I kissed and made up and still neither of us knows why I was muted, although I am glad it happened to have made a new friend. Why post about it? Well, first…it was rather funny to listen to the conversation we had…and two…to alert other hunters that just in case you find that you can’t pick up the hunt item, you may have the owner muted. So check it and be sure you haven’t muted anyone. Sweet dreams Snowy! <3
So I wanted to tell you my new favorites!! Check these two things out!
Ok, the first Item is the Gothic Carriage with Horse. I would like to promise you that my love for this item has nothing to do with my love for the new hit TV show Once Upon a Time but …I can’t because that’s the biggest reason! The carriage has multiple seating positions the horse moves (his feet, tail move and eyes blink) and whinnies and snort. Very realistic movements. I absolutely love this! Any fan of medieval type items is going to love this too. The detail is intricate. Every goth, vamp, medieval prince or princess should have one!

Next is for Fable fans! You know the talking, well insulting, gargoyles in the hit game Fable? Well now you can have your very own on your sim! The insults are hilarious and you can hear some if you come to the front door of our furniture store.

It’s very fun and quite an addition to any goth castle..even if you aren’t a Fable fan.

Hello fellow gothonians! Everything looks awesome at Darkness Falls and you don’t want to miss out! Deja gave the sim a makeover and its her usual greatness! The new Almost Wonderland items are to die for. My personal favorite is the Mad Hatter Bloody Tea Party.

And we love them! I was recently contacted by Amalia Foxtrot and introduced to a fabulous blog dedicated to the glamorous furniture of Second Life and I have to say I am impressed. Typically, most Second Life blogs tend to lean towards fashion so this was really exciting to me. And I was completely flattered that the reason she contacted me in the first place was because she wanted to start blogging about some of my creations. Even more of a “bragging” moment is that one of my newest products is the very first blog entry for them in 2012! So I have to say thank you to Amalia and the Home of Glamorous Furniture for thinking of me and The Elegant Goth and I am looking forward to working with during 2012 and beyond.

One of the new areas we have at The Elegant Goth is our fishing pier. I am honestly in love with the fish pier, it has quickly become one of my favorite places. I must admit, I have been a huge fan of 7 Seas fishing in Second Life for a couple of years now, but sadly just never had time to fish, so my level is quite low. But that didn’t stop me from building a great fishing area for the guests of the Elegant Goth. Of course, it helped that I just finished up a beautiful new gothic boat house and fishing dock to rez up on the land (a little self promotion never hurt anyone). I recently held my first fishing tournament with loads of people from the 7 seas social chat and it was a ton of fun. My shark “Murry” had his nibbles of toes from one afk fisher (was all in good fun) and our top 5 fishers were pleased with their linden prizes and bait buckets! If you haven’t been by to see the Elegant oth fishing pier, please come stop by and check it out. On top of the tasty fish we also have several prizes (store items) that can be fished up.

Greetings gothlings! If you haven’t been by the sim lately, I invite you to come by and see all the new improvements. There are a lot of new areas including the Darkness Falls Insane Asylum, an underground cave system, a new design to our catacombs PLUS our shop has been divided up into a sort of “city” with various items in their own separate shops. As the product line grows this will really help people to be able to find items. I am still working on organizing and getting the products in their correct place, but once it’s complete you will find things a lot easier!
*There is much sound throughout the sim, please turn up your sound settings to really enjoy it!
The new shops: The Caretakers Closet (all your cemetery needs), Elegant Goth Textiles (building components like textures), Gothic Dolly, The Flaky Tart Bakery, Elegant Goth Architecture, and more to come! This week I will be introducing new shops as I organize all the products so please come by and take a peak. Any feedback is welcome!
Coming soon: On top of the new sim design and new products, in the next few weeks I will also be introducing the new Blood Amphitheater. In the coming months we will be hosting a few events at this new location and I think it will be a lot of fun for everyone.

The Vampire Clan Living Room
I know how hard it can be to find large sofas big enough to hold a good portion of your clan for meetings, parties or just to hang out. This large sofa will hold up to 16 of your clan members in various positions around the sofa, includes fully adjustable positioning for each person sitting PLUS the sofa will remember the custom position of the 50 most regular sitters so your normal users of the sofa won’t had to adjust every time they sit.
